1. Acceptance of these Terms

By creating a Fragrance Library, browsing the Souq, or using any part of Attar Club, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the platform. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.

2. What Attar Club Is

Attar Club is a community and marketplace for fragrance collectors in the UAE. Every account starts with a Fragrance Library — a personal, public collection of the bottles you own. From your Library, you may choose to list any bottle for sale in the Souq. Attar Club also hosts the Majlis, a social feed for posts, follows, and likes between collectors.

3. Your Account

You're responsible for the accuracy of your profile and for keeping your login credentials secure. One account per person. You may delete your account and associated data at any time from your profile page.

4. Listing a Bottle for Sale

When you mark a bottle "for sale," you confirm that: you own it and have the right to sell it; the brand, name, price, box status, bill status, and fill percentage you enter are accurate to the best of your knowledge; and the bottle is genuine. Attar Club does not independently authenticate listings — the checklist you complete is a self-declaration, shown to buyers so they know exactly what to check on arrival. Once a sale is paid for, the seller must ship or hand over the item promptly.

5. How a Purchase Works

When a buyer purchases a listed bottle, payment is collected through Attar Club's payment gateway and held securely — it is not released to the seller immediately. The buyer then has 48 hours from delivery to inspect the item against the seller's declared checklist. If the item matches, the buyer confirms receipt and the held funds are released to the seller. If the buyer does not confirm and does not raise a dispute within the 48-hour window, the funds are automatically released to the seller. If the item does not match its listing, the buyer may open a dispute instead of confirming, which pauses the release of funds pending review under Section 6.

6. Disputes

If a bought item doesn't match its listing, open a dispute before the 48-hour window closes — this keeps the payment held rather than released. Attar Club will review the listing's declared checklist against the buyer's evidence and may release the funds to the seller, refund the buyer, or request more information from either party. We aim to resolve disputes fairly and promptly, and our decision on the release of held funds is final within the platform.

7. Prohibited Items and Conduct

You may not list counterfeit, stolen, or illegal items. You may not use false information, harass or impersonate another user, post spam, or attempt to circumvent any suspension. Violating this may result in your listing being removed, your account being suspended, or both.

8. Your Content

Photos, bios, and posts you upload remain yours. By posting them, you grant Attar Club a license to display them on the platform as part of normal operation of the Library, Souq, and Majlis. You're responsible for having the right to post any content you upload.

9. Moderation and Suspension

Attar Club may remove any listing, post, or profile, or suspend any account, that we reasonably believe breaches these Terms. A suspended account is blocked from posting or listing new content. We aim to be fair but reserve the right to act to protect the community.

10. Fees

Creating a Fragrance Library, browsing the Souq, and using the Majlis are free. Completed sales through the Souq are subject to a service fee, which will be clearly shown before checkout — you will always know the exact fee before you pay or before your item sells.

11. Disclaimers

Attar Club is provided "as is." We do our reasonable best to keep the platform reliable and to resolve disputes fairly, but we don't guarantee the platform will be error-free or uninterrupted, and we're not liable for a seller's or buyer's own actions outside the dispute process described in Section 6 — including a seller's description of an item's condition or authenticity, which remains their self-declaration.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute relating to these Terms or the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UAE courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Attar Club grows. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the platform after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
